About SouthCoast Community Church
SouthCoast Community Church came into being on Sunday, 2nd February 2014. Before our launch, we met at Word of Life Grounds and were known as Word of Life Fellowship Church and we’ve been an active presence within the Diani/Ukunda area since 2008.
South Coast Community Church (SCC), in its initial organization, for purposes of governance and operation, is a non-denominational, unaffiliated with any recognized denomination(s).
The elders of SCC in all aspects of the Church are the authority as stewards and under-shepherds of the Head of the Church, Jesus Christ our Savior.
The Church is currently meeting on the SERVE Kenya Ministries (SKM) premises. The church is in the progress of planting a church in Dima, 10 kilometers from Ukunda. The church also plans to develop her 2 acre property within Ukunda which will eventually become her home.
About Pastor James and Jacinta Muthee (SCC Ukunda)

“Jacinta and I got married in March 7th 2007 and God has blessed us with 2 children Daniel and Esther. I was then working in Juba, South Sudan with a communication company. As a young lady Jacinta always prayed that she would be married to a pastor. After about three years in Juba God called to full time ministry in 2009 and I was later ordained as pastor after completing BTCP.
Since then I have continued to serve the LORD as teacher, preacher and counselor in His church. Jacinta has continued to serve alongside me in singing, leading women's ministry, counseling young ladies and leading women discipleship groups.
We have seen LORD use us in ways that are amazing both in Southcoast Community church and the community around.” - Pastor James Muthee
